The Dulais Valley Partnership aims to enhance the quality
of the environment in the valley by providing services and improvement schemes that will ultimately improve job and volunteering
oportunities, along with enabling people to gain knowledge, skills that will allow us to contribute to a positive society
and environment to live in.
Our aims are:-
To reduce pollution and waste
To improve the quality of the natural
environment
To create a social
enterprise
Recent examples of the work being done
can be seen throughout the valley. For example the Dulais Valley Gardening Service, This is our social enterprise that is
currently employing two people, Peter Rees from Banwen and Meirion Jones from Seven Sisters. We also have a volunteer, Daniel
Pink who has been nominated for Swansea Bay Young Achievers Award.
Environmental projects that can be seen are
