Youth Work in the Dulais Valley area

The aim of the project is to enhance the profile of the young people in the Dulais Valley. Through a variety of projects, the valley communities will benefit from young people taking responsibility for developing, organising and carrying out self-generated activities Gaining confidence and responsibility by acquiring new skills linked with further education provide better employability prospects as part of Dulais Valley’s Community Regeneration Scheme Project activities include: Seven Sisters Youth Forum Crime Prevention and Public disorder with Community Police Officer. Environmental volunteer work Physical activity days, such as canoeing, climbing and abseiling. Cultural/Arts activities Community Enhancement through Environmental Projects All young people living in the Dulais Valley, between the ages of 11-25 can get involved in these projects.
