Dulais Valley Community Transport is a non-profit making organisation, providing
low cost transport for members with transport problems, living within the Dulais Valley / surrounding area.

All services users/groups must be a registered member of the scheme.

Unlike taxis we can’t make same day bookings, you may book up to 6
days in advance, with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Cancellation charge if less than 48 hours notice given.

Bookings are taken Monday – Friday between the hours of 9.00 am and
3.00 pm.

All bookings are subject to vehicle/driver availability. We operate on a
first come first served basis.

Please allow 15 minutes flexibility each side of your designated journey
time.

We
request payment within 14 days of invoice receipt.

What Type of Journeys Can you Make
(as a group or as an individual) |
- Access to health facilities including doctors appointments and hospital visits etc.
- Access to leisure facilities: leisure centres, sporting venues/events.
- Access to social facilities; shopping (links with shop mobility), cinema, theatre, special events.
- Use for religious purposes.
- Longer journeys/day trips.

- Minibuses: up to 12/16 passengers.
- Cars up to 5 passengers.
- Most vehicles are: wheelchair accessible, fully insured for passengers/drivers and equipped with mobile telephones for
emergencies.

All our drivers are volunteers from the local community and undergo relevant
training (trained and assessed to MiDAS standards, including first aid.
|

|
Membership Fee
Lifetime Membership Fee of £1.00 for eligible
groups/individuals. You will only need to pay this once.
Minibuses
£1.10 per mile (discounted on charge after 60
miles per trip). We usually only charge milage incurred whilst you/the group are a passenger on local journeys. Our minimum
charge is £11.00
The person booking the bus will be responsible for payment upon receipt of an invoice.
Community Car Service
Unlike the minibus, we charge per
person not per vehicle.
Journeys from as little as £2.00 return. Regular scheduled journeys also offered such as shopping/market
days/special events
